The Blood Core is the military's most elite group of warriors. While the overseeing commander is Asukai Katsu; Ryusaki Hayate is its head.
The Core is a two-fold branch organization. There is the branch of the Core which deals with the inner workings of the palace and a separate branch which focuses on the outer workings.
